Under Graduate Colleges under Ayush Systems: A considerable increase in

Ayush colleges/Teaching institutions has been observed during 2011-2021. There are

779 Ayush under Graduate Colleges with admission capacity for 56484 students
throughout the country as on 01.04.2021. Maximum 413 Under Graduate Colleges
with admission capacities for 29180 students belonged to Ayurveda, whereas, 245 Under

Graduate Colleges with admission capacities for 19572 students are under Homoeopathy

system. Only 54, 12, 49 and 6 Under Graduate Colleges with admission capacities
for 3287, 740, 3620 and 85 students belonged to Unani, Siddha, Naturopathy and
Sowa - Rigpa systems respectively.
