qualifications enrolled in the National Register or a State Register, as the

                                case may be: Provided that a person who has been registered in the Central
                                Register of Homoeopathy maintained under the Homoeopathy Central Council

                                Act, 1973 prior to the coming into force of this Act and before the National
                                Exit Test becomes operational under sub-section (3) of section 15, shall be

                                deemed to have been registered under this Act and be enrolled first in the
                                State Register and subsequently in the National Register maintained under

                                this Act.”
                            C.  Yoga Certification Board:  Established by Ministry of Ayush, Government

                                of India, is the only Board for certification in the field of Yoga.

                            D.  Ayurveda  Training  Accreditation Board (ATAB):  Rashtriya Ayurveda

                                Vidyapeeth, an  Autonomous institute under Ministry of  Ayush has been
                                notified as the Accrediting agency for various Ayurveda professional courses

                                being run in the country and abroad and for Ayurveda professionals including
                                therapists /counsellors etc. not covered under IMCC Act, 1970 or any other

                                regulations. The work of Accreditation will be looked after by a Board named
                                as Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board (ATAB).

                            a)  The Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945
                                have exclusive regulatory provisions for  Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani, and

                                Homoeopathy drugs for monitoring their quality, safety and efficacy. A separate
                                chapter for  Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani medicines was introduced since

                                1982 in the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940. The Act regulates manufacturing
                                & sale of drugs, pharmacopoeialstandards of drugs, methods of testing &

                                analysis, GMP, packaging & labeling, recognition of public & private drug
