                     7.  Regulatory System of Traditional Medicine Professional
                         & TM Professional Councils

                            National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)  Act, 2020 and

                     National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)  Act, 2020 were enacted on 21st

                     September, 2020,  to replace the  existing Indian  Medicine Central  Council  Act, 1970
                     and Homoeopathy Central Council  Act, 1973 respectively.  Accordingly, as per the
                     provisions of the said Act, the statutory bodies National Commission for Indian System

                     of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Homeopathy have been established

                     replacing the earlier Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and Central Council
                     of Homoeopathy (CCH) with an aim to regulate the standards of education, teaching
