iii. Co-location of Ayush services with renowned Allopathy hospitals:
Ministry of Ayush through its research councils delivering Ayush services
through extension OPD units in prestigious hospitals of Contemporary
medicine like ABVIMS, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Vardhman
Mahaveer Medical College – Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical
College and Hospital on co-location basis for improved public health
interventions. Ayush services are also delivered at First Aid Post at Supreme
Court, Ayush Wellness Clinic at President’s Estate and CCRAS-JNU Ayurveda
Treatment & Research Facility, New Delhi. Further, at Safdarjung Hospital
Department of Integrative Medicine with Ayush services has been established
and on similar lines it will be established at Lady Hardinge and RML

iv. Collaboration with Ministry of Defence: Ministry of Ayush through its
MoUs with Ministry of Defence has established the Ayurveda Centres at
37 Cantonment Hospitals and also at 12 Military Hospitals of Armed
Forces Medical Services (AFMS) to make available well-established and
time-tested therapies of Ayurveda to the residents of Cantonments, including
families of Armed Forces personnel and civilians depending on these

v. Creation of separate Ayush Academic Department in AIIMS: The
process of establishing separate Ayush Academic Department in all of the
AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) across the nation is under
finalisation.
vi. Ayush and POSHAN Abhiyan: Integrating the wisdom of Ayush in the
fight against malnutrition: Ministry of Ayush and Ministry of Women
and Child Development through their Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) in 2020 are working together against malnutrition by integrating
Indian Traditional systems of medicine with the conventional nutritional
interventions through various activities such as awareness on regional and
seasonal dietary practices, Ayush related activities for anaemia in pregnancy,
Yoga sessions, traditional foods for healthy mother and child, medicine
distribution, Poshan Vatikas or Nutri-gardens, webinars etc. https://pib.gov.
