COVID -19: A terrifying world situation turned to opportunity

During and after Covid-19 hospital took its major jump in number of services
delivered. In the start of the COVID 19 global pandemic, the hospital started working

on the scientific, time tested and effective Ayurvedic medicine in order to boost the

immunity and address mild to moderate symptoms of mass population. We then
introduced our decoction pack made using available herbs, suitable for all age and
gender, easy to use and palatable. We named it JZY Pack, and its demand crossed more

than a million out of which around 60 percent was distributed to the general public

and the remaining to different government offices, private organisations, NGOs’, and so
on.
The rise of the second wave of COVID 19 global pandemic turned out to be a

golden opportunity to this hospital as we introduced ourselves as the isolation centre

to keep isolates with moderate and mild symptoms. Funded by Kathmandu Metropolitan
City, we established an isolation centre within 9 days and provided care to 40 patients
between 17-79 years over the span of 45 days.
