Thai traditional medicine treatments provided include:
1. Thai Massage (Royal Court Thai Massage, swallowing stimulation, other types
of massage)
2. Herbal compression

Health promotion and education services provided include:
1. Appropriate use of herbal medicine
2. Self-massage techniques for patients and their relatives
3. SKT meditation therapy
4. Physical activities
5. Behavioural adjustment
6. Changing attitudes and beliefs, the risk factors that may cause complications.
Strengths/Success factors
1. Development of Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) for collaborative work
with healthcare professionals.
2. Adjustment of the IMC-TTM patient care system to link with the National
Health Security Office (NHSO) and serve as a pilot hospital in Health
Region 8.
3. Availability of Thai traditional medicine building and IPD wards.

4. Weekly home visits to quickly access patients, initiate immediate rehabilitation
and treatment and continuous care.
Suggestions for further development and improvement
1. To exchange data on Intermediate Care: IMC with a neurologist.
2. To conduct research on evaluating Muscle Power, including collecting data
on the number of patients, onset of symptoms, number of treatments, duration
of treatment, improvement of symptoms, and identifying potential factors for
lack of improvement.
3. To compile data on the impact and benefits of integrating Thai traditional
medical doctors in the IMC team in various dimensions by conducting research
to provide evidence to other healthcare professionals.
