g) During the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in second wave Ministry of

                                 Ayush released Ayurveda Preventive Measures for self-care during COVID-19
                                 Pandemic (Revised  Advisory), Guidelines for  Ayurveda Practitioners for

                                 COVID-19 Patients in Home Isolation,  Yoga protocol for psychosocial
                                 rehabilitation of COVID-19 Patients (Jointly developed by CCRYN, NIMHANS

                                 and S-VYASA), Advisory for Ayush practitioners on ethical practices during
                                 COVID-19 ,Information for Homeopathy and  Ayurveda Practitioners on

                                 Mucormycosis and Home care guidelines and Advisory for Ayush Practitioners
                                 about prophylactic care in Children.

                             h) A dedicated community support  helpline has been operationalised by the
                                 Union Ministry of Ayush to provide Ayush-based approaches and solutions

                                 for the challenges raised by Covid-19. The toll-free number is 14443. The
                                 helpline is operational pan-India from 6 am to 12 midnight-all seven days

                                 of a week. Through the helpline 14443, experts from different streams of
                                 Ayush would be available to address queries of the general masses. These

                                 experts would not only be providing counselling and feasible remedies to
                                 the patients but would also guide them about the availability of nearby Ayush

                                 facilities.
                             i)  Research Studies: Overall, 150 clinical, pre-clinical and epidemiological

                                 studies on COVID-19 Research have been undertaken by the Research
                                 Councils and National Institutes under the Ministry. It includes 46 prophylactics,

                                 49 Interventional studies, 17 observational, 10 surveys and 24 pre-clinical/
              T raditional Medicine Systems of BIMSTEC Member States – 2023 Report
                                 experimental studies, two monographs and two systematic reviews.

                             j)  AYUSH 64 & Kabasura Kudineer: Based on the empirical evidence,
                                 Ayush-64 was repurposed for COVID-19 and extensive studies viz., in-silico,

                                 in-vitro and clinical studies were conducted to evaluate its therapeutic potential.
                                 The tangible evidence generated through robust studies led to positioning of

                                 Ayush-64/Kabasura Kudineer as potential adjuncts to standard care in
                                 COVID-19 management.  Ayush 64 is recommended in National Clinical

                                 Management protocol for COVID-19 based on Ayurveda and Yoga.
                             k) Ayush Sanjivani mobile app has been developed by Ministry of Ayush and

                                 has documented the impact assessment of effectiveness, acceptance and usage
                                 of  Ayush  advisories  &  measures  in  the  prevention  of  COVID-19  through

                                 Mobile app base population study in around 1.35 crores respondents and
                                 analysis of 7.24 lakh public data revealed that 85.1% of the respondents
