Health care services including government Traditional medicine formulation for

use in traditional clinics and hospitals under the Ministry are manufactured by
pharmaceutical factory that produce Traditional Medicines which are provided free of
charge to be dispensed in public Traditional Medicine facilities.

5. Number of health service facilities and TM professionals

providing TM services in the health service system

Total number of 49 TM hospitals. There are three (100) bedded teaching TM

hospitals, nine (50) bedded TM hospitals, thirteen (25) bedded hospitals and twenty-four
(16) bedded TM hospitals.
