Conducted Activities of TM

                            • Continuation  of TM  services by providing adequate human resources, drugs
                              and equipment through the LD (AMC), DGHS to the Districts and UHCs.

                            • Increasing Public Awareness about TM treatment through Traditional Medical

                              doctors and allied TM support staffs.
                            • Strengthening of TM services at Government Hospitals at primary, secondary
                              and tertiary levels.




                     Achievements
                            • Best Practices of Traditional Medicine are being provided along with the Western

                              Medicine in all types of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Level Government

                              Hospitals.
                            • As a result, patients are more satisfied taking one stop integrated services from
                              the same hospital.

                            • As well as patients are provided with the fresh herbal medications from the

                              herbal garden, freshly cultivated in front of the every government hospital.
                            • Patients can identify, collect and use herbs for their primary health conditions
                              from  those  herbal  gardens  with  the  help  of  herbal  assistants  and  by  the

                              guidance of TM doctors.

                            • Moreover, TM doctors are frequently helping patients with their alarming NCD
                              conditions  like  HTN,  DM,  Obesity,  Heart  Disease,  Fatty  Liver,  Stroke,
                              Dyslipidaemia, etc., with their valuable lifestyle modification counselling and

                              suggestions on healthy food guidelines.

                            • To provide preventive and curative services to the service-recipients at Government
                              health facilities.
                            • To motivate the service-recipients about the Unani and Ayurvedic medicine and

                              treatment along with the conventional allopathic treatment as it is cheap,

                              affordable, cost-effective and free from side-effects.
                            • To integrate TM services with the National Health Care delivery systems.
                            • The Production and Research Unit, GUAMCH is preparing medicine in the

                              hospital premises and serving the patients on demand.
